Cary London is a partner at Fredson Statmore Bitterman with extensive experience litigating civil rights, catastrophic injury, motor vehicle, and construction accident cases from the inception through trial.
Cary began his legal career clerking for the Honorable Richard Lee Price of the New York State Supreme Court, and went on to build a diverse litigation background that includes work with the Bronx County District Attorney’s Office, the NYPD, Brooklyn Defender Services, and even contract work for the Las Vegas Raiders. He received his undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Virginia, and earned his Juris Doctor from New York Law School.
Cary advocates for those injured by negligence and misconduct and has recovered millions of dollars on behalf of his clients across New York’s five boroughs, Westchester, and Long Island. He gained national attention for his role in the landmark United States Supreme Court case Thompson v. Clark, in which he helped secure a decision that strengthened the constitutional protections available to civil rights plaintiffs nationwide. In the last three years alone, he has secured more than five civil rights settlements of $3 million or more.
