Kate N. Celestino, Esq. is an Associate Attorney at Fredson Statmore Bitterman, LLC. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Seton Hall University, where she double majored in Political Science and English Honors, and later obtained her Juris Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law School.
While in law school, Ms. Celestino gained valuable hands-on experience through multiple internships. She served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Archie C. Brown, Circuit Judge of the Washtenaw County Trial Court in Michigan, and participated as a student attorney in the Civil Litigation Clinic. She also interned with the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office, working in both the Trial Unit and the Major Crimes Unit.
Ms. Celestino began her legal career practicing insurance defense litigation for one of the largest motor vehicle insurance carriers in the country, where she developed extensive experience handling motor vehicle claims. She later transitioned to plaintiff-side personal injury practice at a mid-sized law firm, expanding her practice to include motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, dog bite claims, construction accidents, and wrongful death matters.
Throughout her career, Ms. Celestino has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in jury trials through verdict. Her well-rounded litigation background allows her to anticipate defense strategies and leverage that insight to advocate effectively for her personal injury clients and maximize case outcomes.
Ms. Celestino has been admitted to practice law in the State of New Jersey since 2015 and is an active member of the New Jersey Association for Justice (NJAJ).
