Sean Connelly is a partner at Fredson Statmore Bitterman and brings over 30 years of experience representing individuals and families injured in a wide range of accidents. His practice focuses on cases involving trucking and automobile accidents, bus and train crashes, fires, boating accidents, drownings, construction site injuries, slip/trip and fall incidents, and injuries caused by defective products.
Mr. Connelly earned his undergraduate degree in Marketing from Marquette University in 1989. He went on to receive his Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law in 1994. During law school, he was a successful moot court competitor, interned with the Manhattan District Attorney’s elite Homicide Investigations Unit, and advocated for victims of domestic violence through his work with the Suffolk County Supreme Court’s Domestic Violence Unit.
Throughout his career, Mr. Connelly has consistently secured favorable settlements and jury verdicts for his clients across New Jersey and New York. He has tried cases to verdict in Bergen, Passaic, Morris, Essex, Union, and Middlesex counties. He represents clients suffering from serious injuries, including spinal and orthopedic injuries, neurological damage, traumatic brain injuries, complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS/RSD), and psychological trauma.
Known for his aggressive advocacy and compassionate approach, Mr. Connelly is licensed to practice in all state and federal courts in New Jersey and New York, as well as before the Supreme Court of the United States. He is a Certified Civil Trial Attorney by the Supreme Court of New Jersey — a distinction held by less than 2% of attorneys in the state.
He is an active member of the New Jersey Association for Justice, the American Association for Justice, and the Passaic County Bar Association.
