Mayra Suazo-Aquino

Mayra Patricia Suazo-Aquino joined Fredson Statmore Bitterman in 2022. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Suazo-Aquino was an Associate at a well-known, full-service law firm specializing in all areas of plaintiff’s personal injury litigation. She has vast experience with all types of personal injury matters, from inception through all phases of discovery, trials, and appeals.

Ms. Suazo-Aquino attended Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, where she graduated with honors (cum laude), and received a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and English. She then went on to receive her Juris Doctorate from Touro Law. She is currently admitted to practice in New Jersey, New York, and the U.S. District Court District of New Jersey. Prior to graduating law school, Ms. Suazo-Aquino interned at the Hudson County Superior Court where she interned for the Hon. Marybeth Rogers, J.S.C.; the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office (Appellate Division); and the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office.

Presently, Ms. Suazo-Aquino remains actively engaged in multiple bar associations throughout New Jersey, specifically co-chairing events, volunteering at the Community Food Bank of New Jersey and Toni’s Kitchen, and was recently a speaker at the New Jersey Association of Justice Winter Seminar, “Maximizing Damages: Dram Shop and Wrongful Death.” She was also elected as Parliamentarian of the Forest Hill Community Association, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit entity, where she also co-chairs the membership committee for the City of Newark’s, Forest Hill District.

Mayra is fluent in Spanish.
