Motorcycle Riders Risk Head Injuries And Broken Bones
Riding on a motorcycle holds greater risk for rider and passenger than driving in a car. Not only is it more difficult to control a vehicle with two wheels than a four-wheeled vehicle at relatively high speeds, but motorcycles also offer very little protection in the event of an accident. The lack of protection often leads to severe injuries, such as broken bones or even head injuries. This means that motorcycle accidents often have disastrous consequences.

In 2012, 4,667 motorcyclists and/or their passengers died in motorcycle accidents across the United States.
